Want to help prevent this site becoming too commercial?
Hello. I hope you are enjoying the site. If you've just got here, I suggest you go and have a wonder through, I think you'll enjoy it. If you have explored and like the way the site is working how about helping me in its construction by making a donation.
Why donate? ( Do you really want to see me working in an office!! )
From the start of this website's construction until June 2004 I have not made a single penny from it directly. I spend, on average, about 50 hours per week of my own time studying website design and applying it to the site, which I have really enjoyed. The financial pressure is now getting great and I have to make this site more productive. With your help I could give up in trying to commercialise UnitingRhythms.
What could you donate. Basically, anything.....
Cash: The more donations of cash, the more time I could spend directly on the site.
Food: Please send airtight packets only.
Seeds: Nothing better than growing your own food. Donate seeds for my garden.
Clothing: Any type of cloth or clothing will be accepted. Surplus given to the poor.
Public benefits of Donations
Giving donations to UnitingRhythms will allow me to better this website in various ways. At present I can only afford a small amount of webspace and bandwidth, limiting my content for pictures and sound. With donations I can upgrade the space, improve the content, add more maps of events and allow the maps to be used in more ways showing different types of events and classified sections to buy and sell.
Members benefits of donations
Members can benefit from giving donations as it will improve the size and content of the site, opening more forums, chatrooms and maps for thier use. I would like to open a classified section along with the events maps to allow members to sell second-hand musical instruments and equipment. They will not be open for commercial use, with members limited on the amount of goods they sell through the classified sections.
What happens to surplus donations
Surplus donations of food and cloth will be given to local charities, homeless and poor. All money donated will be used to upgrade this website.
Please note:I am not a registered charity. All donations to be used how I wish.
